Any particular calculator recommended for the CFA exam?

Only two allowed as noted on the CFA website. The TI BA-II and/or HP12C

I got BA II Plus Professional because it has more functions like discounted payback, MIRR etc and can be used for FRM as well.

Get the BA II Plus or Plus Professional. It can allow you to do a lot more, a lot easier (if you are familiar with only regular calculators).

Get BA II Plus Professional

It’s more expensive but worth it. Great buttons.

I thought, the TI BA Plus is the better from the TI’s.

If you don’t already use the HP12c, forget about it now. Too little time to get used to RPN and all the benefits that it comes with.
