Is there any way to get a refund for the CFA exam fee and separately, schweser? From what I’ve read, it’s a no, but just curious.
I seem to recall that CFAI will refund your money, or at least let you apply it to next year’s exam, if you have a legitimate, documented reason for missing the exam (i.e. you’re in the hospital, car accident on the way to the test center, family member funeral on exam day, etc.) If you want a refund because you just decided not to take the test or couldn’t find the time to study, I believe you are SOL. Not sure about Schweser’s policy, although I think they give you a discount next year if you buy the same level materials.
A doctors note if you have a medical condition that wont allow you to sit, most likely injury.
