CFA Result Season & Olympics

is this the first time when the two of them come at a same time…?

what about the CFA result released four years ago? 4 years before that, and 4 years before that…

Assuming only summer Olympics, that would be the upper bound since Olympics may occur outside the mid-to-late August time slot.

Way to screw up a 4-word catch phrase.

Its good for those who fail. They can go home on August 19 and flip on the TV, and see some athlete finally win a medal on his third time at the olympics.

Holy terrible thread.

…Pathetic!

Hopefully this improves the thread…probably captures the feeling of passing CFA exams for candidates around the world. http://www.vimeo.com/1211060?pg=embed&sec=1211060 Enjoy the scenery before World War 3 breaks out…

Tell me about it. So we have American planes ferrying Georgian troops back to Georgia while there is a war going on between Russia and Georgia. Isn’t a plane load of hostile troops a legitimate wartime target? Are we escorting those planes with fighter and AWACS support? What happens after an air battle between Russia and the US over Georgia? What was on the Lusitania anyway?

Georgia is the first theater of the new cold war. I guess the American public is weary of the war on terror - have to have a new enemy to liven things up and enrich the jackals of the military-industrial complex.

The Georgian troops were recalled from Iraq back home. The US probably handles their logistics to begin with since they only have 18,000 troops. Taking Air Iraqi probably wouldn’t have been very efficient given that the Russians look to be shelling the capital.

I agree with you Pox Americana.

A very interesting Bush/Putin picture! http://d.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/p/rids/20080808/i/r1698767329.jpg?x=348&y=345&sig=g7JMDOF4Q6AnPr68L45k3w--

what a hijacking of the thread!!!

US air force plane just landed in Georgia carrying aid…ack. Imagine if there were a malfunction (real or assisted) that caused that jet to crash…
