Yeah, well I’m still getting smoked on AM sessions. One of these times I’m going to get that required return calc right.
So pumped about going out on a strong note as far as practices go. sample 2 yesterday, not too great. 76 after going 2/6 on ethics. sample 3 today, 93. missed the first ethics ? and the stupid asynchro(whatever) one, even though i had seen the discussion on the forum. got lucky on the covariance one and guessed, but otherwise i’d pay about 5 grand to have that replicated on Saturday.
nice work ng… you do 2/3 of that performance and you’re good for a pass. you’ve been killing level 3, man…

pregame jitters… you don’t get a 90 score if you’re not ready. but i hear you, i’m pretty stressed out, too. but not sure how stressed i’d be if i had a 9 handle under my belt!
luck of the draw my friend. now if i could get more than 25% of return/risk IPS questions right, i’d feel pretty good.
Sample 1: 93% (Was it the same as last year’s sample 1?) This is not a normal score for me.

bump. Last year scores. The exams were easy or candidates were smarter.

Can’t agree more mwvt. Hopefullly MPS will be low for this year’s candidates.
hey hey! don’t put us down! We had to get through a 34% pass rate in 08, and 37% in 09, we gotta be smart!! 
(don’t quote me on those pass marks though)
Wow, that’s depressing. I haven’t taken the samples yet but that scares me a bit. I know at level 2 (since I had to do it twice :-P) the sample exams were the same from 2008 to 2009, I wonder if any retakers can verifiy if this years are the same as last years?

You’re in great shape. I never took tests this far out from the actual exam. Most of the scores posted in this thread are from the week before the exam. Exams were easy - I haven’t even gotten above 60% on a Schweser exam yet and just got 83% on the multiple choice mock exam from last year. That always happens to me, though - concepts are my specialty, which is why I get murdered on Schweser plug and chugs but end up doing very well on exam day.

Nah dude, just finishing up Schweser Volume 1 practice tests…then I’m gonna finish CFA EOCs (got about two more books), old samples (got a bunch of those), current samples, old mocks and current mocks until exam day. Seriously though, it’s so refreshing seeing CFAI tests after dealing with the grueling Schweser tests. No calcs, just thinking = right up my alley.
