cfa society of sf test this weekend

anyone have experience w/ it? it’s not the bsas test, unfortunately. and it’s only the morning session. but it’s proctored and all that so it should be a good test run. anyone take it for L1 or L2 last year? might have to take a rehearsal fist pump.

I don’t have any experience, but wanted to wish you good luck.

I took level 1 in Nov last year. I did not like it that much. I am running out of time for level 2, so I decided to skip it. Hopefully level 2 is good for you. I think if they give BSAS exam, I might have signed up.

Thanks much, mwvt. i appreciate it. a month away from the real exam. it’s go time…

disptra, what did you not like about it? not very realistic? i really don’t know how to gauge the value of these things since this is my first time around l2. if i do well, it probably means it was too easy. i’ll let you know.

cfasf1 I am one of no background candidates. I started early for level 1 and took a lot of exams. I feel that it is not as helpful as BSAS exam for level 1. For level 1, it is definitely easier than BSAS, I got 85% on SF and about only 72 % for BSAS. Do not know about level 2. I am in San Jose so it is 2 hour driving round trip as well. I think I will spend that time to review instead. Good luck for the exam.
