CFA Value Conference - Chicago

Anybody going? I will be there solo and was wondering if any other AFers will be there to have a cocktail with. If you are a Chicago local, can you recommend a good watering hole (local feel, good food) within walking distance of the Intercontinental (505 N. Michigan). Thanks.

What is this CFA Value Conference in Chicago? I’m about 3 hours south. Is there anywhere I can find details on this?

The Bull & Bear (http://www.bullbearbar.com/) is kinda douchey (I don’t know this neighborhood well, I live up in Wrigleyville) but it’s where a bunch of traders/brokers/etc. drink. And there are always smokin’ hot broads with big racks. Definitely not the local watering hole type place but might be worth checking out. It’s at Wells & Hubbard, just a few blocks west. The original Billy Goat (below Michigan Ave) is also really close. Worth checking out for the triple cheeseburger and cheap Billy Goat Dark lager.

thanks for the link…wont be able to afford to go to this one.

Yes, bull&bear is filled with hot midwestern blondes with big racks. That entire area on hubbard street is filled with bars with hot chicks. It’s a bit older and more upscale than the bar scene in lincoln park or wrigleyville.
