Status quo vs anchoring, q4 Am i missing something on CFAI got it the other way around?
csk, which question are referring to? Is it the Nultione/Hyatt one? Anchoring - Hyatt does not change his view inspite of Nutione pointing out key variables have changed. Status quo - Hyatt believes that the economies downturn will continue.
career, yes i figured it out. I actually thought that Hyatt bias was status quo for not changing the views. But now i see that it is anchoring, even though i still disagree. I think they key point is that he listened to seminar prior to consulting with Nution, and that is what anchored him
