I just got the cfai books and I am pretty pleased. They look soooo much better than previous years.
i disagree with you, i think they look sooooooo much better. 
On a serious note, I really like the wide margins ( for note taking) and the los on the front of each reading and the question structure as well. I guess this will allow for another month of procrastination!!
Looking at them makes me want to puke.
i know its tough to think that u need to study for another 3, 4 month… but it might be the last time and also the topics look far more interesting than level I and II
