On a previous thread it was mentioned that an applicant could withdraw their CFAI membership application. Is that true? How would one do that? Under what types of circumstances would I want to do that?
I did this last week by emailing them and asking them to cancel my existing application. When I signed up for L3 last fall I had filled out my work experience, but I wanted to change it, and wasn’t able to do so because my application was stuck in “Sponsor Review” limbo.
I withdrew by calling them – no questions asked. In my case it was the fact that I submitted with 47 months of work experience, and there was no point in waiting till NYSSA approval, given that an upgrade from affiliate to regular would start the process all over again anyway.
