CFAI Mock 2012 AM - #4

The research analyst (a “former employee and current shareholder”) goes on a chat room and discloses that she is a “former employee”. There is no mention of being a shareholder which clearly should be disclosed. How is it possible that the answer to this question is c (timeliness of research reports and recommendations) rather than b (relationships with subject companies)?

The analyst based her report on “last year’s annual report” which could very plausibly be the most recently filed public info.

Does anyone have a sensible explanation for this?

I am looking at it now and the answer sheet says B, not C as you say.

Gulp…you’re right…I somehow screwed up grading this. Faith in CFAI restored…for now
