How many mocks does CFAI have? Only 1 free and 2 paid right? For L1, they have more mocks.

Are the mock exams going to be as hard as the real test?
They are pretty much last year’s test so I would assume so.
Mock 2: 80% Mistyped a calculation for franchise P/E that cost me two question even though the logic was right. Would have been at 83% if I wasn’t a moron.

What are the differences bw paid samples and paid mocks? Same price too?
Mock 1 - 83% Mock 2 - 80% Areas not extensively covered in the mocks and samples that I think could be crucial to passing the real deal: 1) Treynor Black 2) Equivelance of various call/put combinations to derivatives 3) Currency Swap 4) Emerging Market Valuation 5) Credit Default Swaps and the different strategies involved. Basis, Curve, Correlation etc. 6) Synthetic CDOs All the best to everyone!
Samples are 30 questions, Mocks are 60. The mocks are $100 for two, samples are $40 a pop.
Just finished the mocks Mock 1: 53 (system crashed in the middle of exam on Sunday - think it hurt me) Mock 2: 78 Sample 1: 73 Sample 2: 73 I’m feeling ok…not great. Still need to take Sample 3 and do 2006 Exam. I’ve heard Sample 3 is easier so might take first thing in the morning to increase confidence (did this last year too) then take a break the rest of the day. Any other recommendations?
Sample 3 was NOT easy, but then again you did well with Sample 2 so you should probably be ok.
hitting up Mock 1 right now… man I’m frightened by the likely outcome.
Mock 1: 61% made some dumb mistakes and got hammered in Derivs… I’ve been averaging mid-high 60’s and broken 70 a few times on the Schweser/Stalla exams, but seem to keep getting nailed by CFAI sample and mock exams. Very depressing.
Finally Broke 80%. Book 6 65 52 62 75 70 70 Mocks 70 81 I like this trend. Did most people feel Mock 2 was harder? I am praying to pass this thing, and ending your testing on a great note might just set the stage for Saturday.
My recent Mock scores… Mock 1: 53% (Lots of really dumb mistakes and basically trying to go through it quickly. Mistakes I will not repeat on Saturday). Mock 2: 71% I felt much better taking this one, although still some room to improve. Lunch, review and then the 2006 Exam. I can do this!
Mock 1 50. Mock 2 yet to appear. I will be really happy if I score about 75
