I felt like an idiot calling, too, but since so many were getting the directory update and I wasn’t I wanted to make sure my ducks were in a row (ie., did something fall through the cracks). CFA Fun - my apologies! Good thing this is just a message board, otherwise I think a brawl would have ensued!
Just called. It wasnt updated on site, but it was awarded this AM. They said I could use it. Worth calling to check.
I called to check because I got an invitation to the Houston chapter’s award ceremony asking that you RSVP by Tuesday if you want to receive your charter at the ceremony. The guy on the phone said that mine hadn’t been officially awarded yet. I asked him how many hadn’t been awarded yet and he said “thousands”, that they were working on them in groups. I asked how long they anticipated that it would take to complete the groups and he said “weeks”. I don’t want to RSVP to the ceremony, have my boss and other guests sign up/pay for it and then not have the charter ready for the ceremony. Sigh. Maybe they shouldn’t have the ceremonies so soon until they can get all of the charters offically awarded.

Hey, I got my name updated too. I got to celebrate again I guess : ) Just log like if you were registering for an exam then go to Personal profile update and there it is ! your name, CFA

wilier: I think it DOES mean you can. To be 100% sure - just call them. I called and got the confirmation - the Charter has been awarded today.
I checked the profile and it’s there now…chartreuxmom, CFA Yippee! Hopefully those who haven’t seen them will be there soon!

I got the charter, ha ha ha ha. I saw CFA besides my name in Update personal profile. I called Customer Service and they confirmed the charter was awarded to me today.
It showed up after my name today
