On a day like today, when info is coming in every few minutes, it would be nice to have an AF chatroom to air out views. Wonder if there is a public place to do that.

I second both notions
I worry that it might be dangerous and confusing to tinker with it. I am old and set in my ways.
I want video and audio as well.
I would literally be distracted all day if there was one on here - haha Would be interesting though.
Chad should take some investors and improve the site.
I’m actually OK with the forum because I’m fine with having things being put in the record…unless there is a way where chats can be saved for others to view. I think it’s important that any member has access to material here so they can read and learn as they please. That being said, I am also in support of private messaging. Why don’t we have that here?
Private messaging would make me feel insecure and excluded. I like hijacking other people’s posts and making myself the center of attention.

the main thing is keeping the forum simple enough so that those of us working in big companies can access it from behind firewalls.
IN all seriousness, I like this forum but two things could be added: avatars, and private messaging. why dont all of us donate like $20 each and buy this piece of unreal estate.

WE are the forum. Chad is merely the republican moderator. I heard that after the election he’s going to let us post porn. He figures no one will have jobs so it doesn’t matter if it’s not workplace safe.
