is there any ideas for the interview !!!

Explain why you consider that an MBA in the U.K. is more valuable for your career than a business degree in the U.S. Maybe the Chevening is strongly biased to support the invidivuals admitted to top UK programs only. I’d run the program that way.

Well, off course an MBA from the US is more valuable, however Chevening only finance UK programs, and I truly need that money…

Sell them the idea why you’re convinced with a UK program and don’t just tell them “I need the money”. They have to see your enthusiasm, even if it’s fake.

Ok Thanks for help isn’t there any others to help ??

I don’t know… tell them what they want to hear. Read the scholarship objective statement, change the words so it seems like it comes from your heart, and then recite it.

Thanks for your response, really appreciate it…

Good luck. That is a lot of money so use it wisely.

I think that I didn’t get a Chevening scholarship this year, as we were supposed to hear back by last Friday. Quick hint: there’s no G in Chevening. In my country they are heavily skewed towards humanities/sciences grads (climate change, public policy, general do-gooder stuff). My old boss got them to fund an MSc Finance @ LSE (10 years ago) but I’m pretty sure that’s off the agenda these days unless you are exceptional. The main thing is to emphasise how much you plan to contribute your home country through your experiences of studying in the UK because the education is better (it definitely is for the course I’m applying for), being exposed to international/diverse markets, whatever reasons you can come up with. That’s the reason for the scholarship scheme in the first place.

Thanks for your reply, regarding your hint, I knew that I wrote it wrong, but I couldn’t adjust it after posting. and thanks for your advice, I went through the interview panel yesterday, and I think that I was doing good, however I don’t know what is my performance relative to the other candidates.
