chewing gum?

Is chewing gum allowed in the exam hall? Unfortunately, I have a habit of chewing nicorette (nicotine gum) …

I doubt it, and frankly hope not. Maybe you can drown-out the annoying chewing sounds by tapping your foot and joggling your legs constantly during the exam. This’ll ensure your popularity with other candidates… who may or may not shank you during the lunch break. Medical conditions are accommodated, but I’ll bet the gum qualifies as food/drink. Check out these FAQs from the CFAI website. http://cfainstitute.org/cfaprog/faq/faqs_candidates.html##97 http://cfainstitute.org/cfaprog/faq/faqs_candidates.html##92 http://cfainstitute.org/cfaprog/resources/examdetails/policies/belongings.html

At least you can’t blow bubbles with Nicorette.

with nicorette you dont really chew it…you stick it to you gums to absorb the nicotine.

just wrap it in some paper and smoke it… oh wait, that defeats the purpose doesnt it…
