Chi-square, F-statistic, Z-Statistic and T

Hi, i just want to ask. in what conditions, Chi-square, F-statistic, Z-Statistic and T-statistic should be used. i know t-test is widely used for hypothesis test, and z-test can be used when the population is normally distributed with known variance. how about Chi-square and F-statisitc? thanks

chi-square is used to test a variance of a normally distributed population f-stat is used to compare the equality of variances of two populations z- and t- stats are used to test means

I ususally remember F tests as equality as the “F” has an “=” in the top part, and the value of a variance as Chi Squared as the X in the greek letter Chi has a “v” in the top part of the X. . . random, I know

“the value of a variance as Chi Squared as the X in the greek letter Chi has a “v” in the top part of the X” Uh, yep, uh, sounds helpful, maybe…

umm…interesting.!

art class??? lolx. nice one
