Am a currently preparing for dec level 1 CFA exam and I don’t have primary financial qualification. By the time I’ll be seeking my first investment management job, I hope to be preparing for my level 2 exam. Pls will the newly established claritas certicate enhance my chances of my chances of getting a job and will it increase the pay I’ll be starting given that I don’t have primary finance qualification neither do I have work experience
Probably not if you are looking to get into the front or middle office. I think the Claritas certificate is aimed at the people who support investment professionals, i.e. admin support and operations, at least that is the way I interpret their marketing campaign.

I second Palacio’s verdict on Claritas. The designation is cheesy, not for investment decision-makers, and sounds like an allergy medicine.
I could not take anybody with the Claritas “designation” seriously.
