Classical Music and Productivity

I started playing classical music during the day and my productivity is through the roof. Highly recommend, but make sure it’s tuned to A = 432 Hz.

I have tried this and sometimes it works, though other times I find myself getting too engrossed in the music. I guess it depends on the repertoire and the quality of performance.

More recently I’ve been listening to white noise (such as the sound of a oscillating fan or the ambient sounds of an airplane engines). It blocks out all the chatter around me but it isn’t so dead quiet and monotonous that I’d lose track of the passage of time.

I listen to President Trump’s campaign speeches. Nothing gets the blood flowing like listening to the greatest orator of our time.

Same.

klassik radio all the way.

Ants reach maximum efficiency while listening to heavy metal. Hate the stuff myself, but perhaps there something to it. That autist Burry enjoys it too.

I like classical or jazz when driving. I’ll sometimes listen to Grateful Dead shows from archive.org while I’m working.

Movie and video game soundtracks are the best because there are meant to keep you focus on something else than the music and tend to be inspirational.
