Have you guys ever heard of the Certified Managment Consultant (CMC) designation, or the Certified Financial Planner (CFC) designation? If so, what do you guys (and gals) think about it, or what have you heard about it, in terms of its value in the jobmarket?
CFP is so-so, the former I’ve never heard of. But why would you do these designations if you are doing the CFA, which is widely considered the gold standards in finance??? I can see going the other way, a CFP aspiring to do CFA, but I don’t see the impetus for a charterholder to do the CFP, save for company or govt regulations.
