I just encountered a continuous compounding question (asking for the future value with continuous compounding @ 6%) and completely blanked out on the calculator keystrokes. So I used: continuous compounding = [1 + 0.06/1000]^1000 -1 Does anyone know the calculator keystrokes for cont. comp. on the ba 2 plus. Thanks
Never really thought of just plugging in a huge value and computing EAR to be honest. Its simple, just type in 0.06, 2nd, and ln (well,e^x).
To go the other way around, you would just use your compounded continuously value, add 1, and click ln.
