Correlation equation

Could anyone please demonstrate the CORRELATION EQUATION = Covariance / (standard deviation X x standard deviation Y)?
I understand the covariance, but i don’t understand why we divide covariance with standard deviation X x standard deviation Y, we can get correlation.

I wonder that REGRESSION and CORRELATION between 2 variables are the same ?
because the documents you give me is the regression nót CORRELATION.
From my opinion, Correlation represents 2 SIDE relationship, while regression represents 1 SIDE relationship.
