I would like to look a bit in the exam and I was not able to find any of those course pack books on amazon or ebay. Can somone tell me what are they ? Are they only extractions from various books from the reading list given in the booklet Study Guide or Program Manual or what ?

Hi,
just read the first book of GARP FRM1 2015 and found almost every chapter on the internet. Some chapters are articles from e.g. BIS and some chapters are copied (with rights I guess) from risk management literature. Thus the first book is a collection of a divers range of literature which you can find on internet and it are pages from the original books or articles.
I don’t know anything about book 2&4. Book 3 is for 50% John C Hull options futures and other derivatives.

okay so it is worth of buyin course pack because the recommanded literature is even more expensive dozens of books… ?
I should buy the GARP books!! As a member you pay 250, but keep in mind the shipping costs. To Holland it was approx. 100.
