CPA, FRM and CAIA instead of CFA

Matt, very good point. City, I don’t think anyone has yet to achieve the coveted CFA^4 stack.

I doubt even the whole curriculum (both levels) would seem like very much material to you, but I bet you’d find it interesting (even if not all new). I think it’s really good.

^ It’s certainly worth reading, I did - the core materials will only cost ~ $200 ; the knowledge is good even if you don’t take the tests Much more enjoyable reading as well (I found Anson’s writing style preferred compared to the multiple authors for lvl 2).

Captain Windjammer, youre right the majority of the readings are very different, but the tools (equations) and topics are fairly similar.

I’m pretty sure if there are any CFA^4’s, they work for Charlie Sheen.

I got two charters a couple years ago (one at the ceremony and one in the mail). Does that make me a CFA^2 ?

The CFA Stacking Society has yet to publish a view on this form of Alt stacking McLeod

I wouls say that CAIA is for girl scouts. Its a sure pass with a pass rate of 75%

One thing else I would say if your company doesn’t pay towards your education then leave them because they do not understand the benefits of a higher education. If your company does pay for your education (CFA, CAIA,etc) then by all means take whatever designation gets you far. A PRM holder.

Pass rates have declined and likely will continue to decline as the designation becomes more prevalent. It is possible that CAIA is following the CFA playbook in terms of pass rates (CFA pass rates started out in the 90% range back in the day, and now are much lower as the designation is well known).
