Crazy Canadians

I just applied for a position with John Hancock’s Canadian investment management. After asking about your progress in the CFA program, they ask “What is your percentage average”? FYI.

Tell them 94% and smile big when you do it.

Has that ever happened to anyone else? Being asked what % they passed on the CFA? I’m under the impression that the CFA carries less weight in NYC and in the US in general compared to Canada.

it’s possible they may have been referring back to your performance in college…

they could be I guess refering to the 50 down, 51-69 and 70 up…weird

Dude…I’m sure they’re talking about undergrad average.

I hope so zimzim78, but the question immediately followed a question about what stage of candidacy I was at, so the context is a bit damning.
