Do they offer some sort of waiver? (in case you fail, I mean…) $1,000 for 4 days is quite a sum…
They raised the price. And it’s earnings season. I’m on the fence.
Wow, it was ~$750 last year. I’m glad I went to bootcamp last year. Still worth it IMO. Sign up early before they close it. I think Marc wants to limit the bootcamp to ~150 people.
I was all set to drop the ~$750… $999 plus airfare, etc, makes it sound so much more expensive. Definitely on the fence now.
Anyone registered yet? It’s so hard to pull the trigger when I haven’t even started studying yet (and won’t for another month at least).
most ppl start in Jan/Feb so don’t worry too much about time…worry about motivation and the quality of study time instead!
I already signed up. It sells out every year apparently so didn’t want to wait.
I have heard good things about this bootcamp. It appears to me that attending it is almost mandatory, specially for the AM section. Due to financial reasons and time constraints, it seems unlikely that I would be able to attend it.
What precautions should I take, so that I can still be good without attending it? I’m already putting hard-work and not taking any short-cuts for this level. In my study plan, would be ready to incorporate suggestions that would actually compensate for not attending this camp.
Thanks for you time…
I was a little bit startled by the price increase, but decided to suck it up and signed up.
Dropped my registration in the mail on Monday (L3). While price is steep, I know that if I didn’t sign up, and I failed, I’d be kicking myself for dropping roughly the same amount when I signed up for the 2014 test. Not gonna let that happen.
Failed band 9 last year - no way am I taking this over again. A friend of mine attributes his success (he passed) to taking this class last year, especially his success with the morning section. I’m signed up and $1k is worth not having to take this over again (fingers crossed). Just a note - the guy who took his class said Marc heavily favors using the CFA material vs. Schweser, and going through the blue-box questions is an absolute must.
Has anyone else signed up for this, or thinking about signing up?
cant attend this boot camp. so cant spend this money
