Currency symbols in exam morning session

Hi All

Just a quickie. Does currency matter when answering questions in the morning session? For example the question has USD$ but you put your answer in GBP£ i.e calculate 10% of $10000, you give your answer as £1000.

Its hard getting the questions right let alone using foreign currency symbols.

When I was at Creighton I was told that all currency answers must be clearly marked. I don’t think it matters USD, $, GBP, £, etc but your answer should be clear for full points.

If a problem contains multiple currencies, you have to have the correct one in your answer (just as you have to have the correct units on a physics exam). Work a bazillion problems until you get it down.
