I have not seen anything prohibiting the use of cursive handwriting on the exam, but nothing mentioning that it is allowed either (only the general “Handwriting is rarely so poor that the answer cannot be graded.”)

Yes, definitely, cursive is fine. I’ve just written my mock exam in cursive and had it marked by a my prep course tutor and they simply said “good presentation”. The main thing is to give set your workings out with plenty of white space, to make sure that you put words around your numbers, and to try to set it out like a spreadsheet (ie easy to follow).
If you have the kind of writing that people frequently need to deceipher, it might be a good idea to print.
Well, that is great news. I am actually one of the rare cases that I think my cursive is easier to read than printing - I chalk it up to the fact that by the age I gave up writing in cursive for printing, I also just gave up trying to make my penmanship look “pretty”.
Your advice on working with the white space is definitely sound. I have found that in my practice exams, I try to write the answer in as concise an amount of space as possible (of course keeping legibility in mind) and then if I finish early, I can go back and add detail to some of my shorter answers.
The graders are pretty good at deciphering handwriting.
I think that they’re all retired pharmacists.
