just to change up the nature of recent posts, what is your plan? two years ago i studied for a couple hours in the morning and then played golf. last year studied for a couple hours and then went out on the boat. this year i’ll probably play golf again. not sure about everyone else, but i find it helpful to do something fun b4 the test and try to sleep well that night.
rubbing a few out. Going on a run and maybe some yoga.
I had a few beers at a cafe in Moscow, hit on some waitresses then later played poker with my boss and took him for 400 bucks. I think if you are prepared, you’re prepared.
same routine before every exam. If the exam is on Saturday morning. I sleep in as late as possible on Friday. Do a light review of flash cards on formulas or topics I am weak on and I have a hard stop at 1:30 no matter what. Chickentikka is right that if you havent prepared enough by the last day, you havent prepared enough. My routine has been to go to a movie with the wife and dinner. aiyeeee! are we so close to this exam that we are already talking about the day before !??!?! i need to get to work!
seriously, too soon. I can’t even think about that happy day yet, where I know my studying is finished and that I am prepared. It’s so far off. One thing that was tough for me was that I felt prepared a solid week before the exam last year. I felt pretty confident and had a hard time motivating myself to really study that final week. I passed all buy econ last year.
One thing I would do differently this year as compared to last: Get up at a normal time on Friday. I slept in on Friday last year, and I couldn’t get to sleep until 2 AM that night. I still passed and I don’t think it hindered me too much at all, but I work so much better on a good night of rest.

I couldn’t get to sleep until 3 AM the day before the exam. I passed, but would have preferred to have slept better. This year, I will probably get up early on Friday, do some light studying, work out, and watch a movie.
do you guys not have work?
some people decide to take a day off before a grueling 6 hour exam since the exam is given like only 1 day out of 365 days a year I reckon?
fair enough. just dont waste a day off on pre-exam relaxation, but i get it.
I’m off the last two days and I cycle a little bit, relax, sleep, and learn the schweser cheat sheet. No alcohol, just building up energy.
I always go for a beer with some friends the night before. Calms the nerves for me and makes me sleep better.
I gamble at a local casino and drink two beers. I also do pushups and study ethics a little. I am a boss. Thommo you sitting for 3? Still going to LV in a couple weeks?
