DC or Boston

Considering a move. Through my travels I have made some good contacts in each and believe I could find work. Anyone lived in both or have a strong opinion on one versus the other? Thanks in advance.

Boston is great for buy side opportunities. Lots of mutual funds, institutional asset managers, and smaller RIA’s.

Boston is more interesting than DC and there is more finance stuff. However, shouldn’t you just move to wherever you get a job?

DC, because this is the other one -> http://inapcache.boston.com/universal/site_graphics/blogs/bigpicture/winter2010_12_03/w28_26175421.jpg

Snow wont bother me at all. Anyone have any recruiter info for Boston? Any past experiences?

I’d take Boston any day of the week. Boston’s weather seems like a tropical paradise compared to my current location, Minnesota.

Boston sucks but has more opportunities on the buyside

I moved from LA to Boston two years ago. Im freaking hate the weather here man, you can really do any outdoor activities for 5 or 6 months.
