tell me this bro is wrong

start at minute 4

nothing to see here. all is well.

The dollar will decline relative to emerging and frontier markets but who knows where it goes from here relative to other developed markets. The US is still the least dirty shirt.

Good, I think it’s great if the dollar declines. There are very obvious benefits to having a weaker currency.

I’m half way through and will finish tomorrow. Some thoughts thus far:

  1. I believe his analysis is missing some key variables. One major one is the chinese economy if the dollar declines percepitously.

  2. He may be correct about the transfer of wealth but i was never a gold but and thus i dont see it as a viable option. I think a more valuable asset to tie a currency to would be real estate that generates cf (farm land, timberland, or even residential / commerical mortgages). Granted a lot of work would need to be planned to ensure volatility is controled, but I think this is far superior than an antiquated pm that holds little value to todays generation (of course leaving absent our rap gods).

  3. Finally, and this is admittedly speculation on my part, I feel no harm within the economy (currency included) can be done until the baby boomers pass away. Whether it be an exacerbated bubble, delayed chaos, ect, i feel as if the controlling power currently (baby boomers) cannot take another dip in their 401k, the stock market, real estate or anything elese pertaining to their forecasted retirement and they will do anything possible to ensure the old fashion america retirement is perserved for their generation.

I’ve had enough bs, ahem, i mean finance for one day. I shall retire to my philosophy where the only absolute truth is that of one that doesnt exist.

@ palantir - yea fuck the middle class, the elderly, and savers! They’ve had it too good for too long!

I like how he’s pretty much like “I can’t read. You’re just going to have to trust me.”

AMURICA

I thought only the 1% was important, why do you care now?

this proves you have no idea what my philosophy is.
