Definition of German overengineering

If you want to adjust the air vent in your Panamera, there is a touch screen above the vent that controls a motor to move the vent. What? Why? I guess the answer is “why not”, but really, for the $1k or whatever ot costs to install this system, there was really nothing more useful they could have done?

I think that’s a bad idea btw, someone will break that, just like back when Mercedes-Benz did a power rear view mirror

I don’t like Panameras people who like Panameras probably would buy a Ferarri FF such odd cars

The new generation Panamera Turbo is sooooo gorgeous.

I’d rock an FF as a daily driver.

I remember the final solution meeting they had. That was way overengineered too. But yes I have ridden in a panerama. I didn’t like it. It only sits 4 but we still shoved a fifth person hahahahahaha

Obviously the mechanical solutions are far too pedestrian and reliable.
