CFA Institute should read its own Standards of Professional Conduct: Standard I A : Knowledge of the Law
That’s the same nonsense that CFAI spouts. Knowledge of the law doesn’t come within 500 miles of meaning that you can’t end up in Court. There are all kinds of rational disagreements in the world that are settled by having someone else decide.
