Did you learn a lot doing the Schweser exams?

I’ve gone through the 2006-2009 AM from past exams as well as the 2 sample exams. This past week I’ve gone through problems and made notes for all study sessions and was planning to do the 3 Schweser exams next week. Considering the time investment for them, do you think its more beneficial to do all 3 of the exams or to do blue boxes, EOC questions, or reviewing the old CFA exams?

I have done 5/6 Schweser Exams and went from done significantly worse on the AM section of Schweser than the CFA exams. I have averaged below 65% on Schweser AM while averaging 75%+ on the CFA exams. [2006 (80%), 2007 (71%), and 2008 (78%)]. Since we are taking a CFA written test and not a Schweser written test I am happy, and would recommend only taking the PM section of the Schweser exams at this point for you and then heavily reviewing the past CFA AM answers, getting into their mindset of how they want the answers worded is the name of the game at this point. -Hope that helped…
