Did you pass?

soooo… 1 out of every 500 people have a sixth toe? I need to meet these people! lol!!

I have, happened to be a bad drunken decision in college. Something I never wanna wake up to again! haha

Careful boy, you are extremely close to violating standards on exam content. And you better believe CFAI is monitoring this forum.

Who you referring to?

You bro

Which post? I dont see anything wrong.

No no you are cool. Just saying be careful not to get carried away.

If I were you, I would not even mention which topics were on the exam, just to be on the safe side. Would just refer to AM and PM session.

In 125’s defense, I’ve seen nothing even close to a potential violation with his posts. Good looking out, but let’s not create unnecessary stress for people when we’re all already on edge waiting to find out how we did…

Agree. I didn’t see any of 125mph’s post which could be in violation.

Morning session I probably had more than half the questions left with 1.5 hours left, and I ended up guessing on 8-10 of them. Afternoon session, I burned through half of the questions in an hour and had maybe 6-8 questions I was uncertain of. So, out of 120 questions, I figure I *couldn’t get* to 20 in a confident way. Assuming I got 6 out of 20 right, and 80% of the remaining 100 correct, I think I got 86/120 or 72% correct. Probably a pass.

It depends on if you marked all “B” or decided to give some chance to “A” and “C” as well…

I cud not agree anymore was retaking as well the exam was similar to the one I wrote last year and landed in band 10. I realized the exam was set in such a way to surprise a few candidates who either punted certain areas and wanted to destroy the “highly testable material” (Econ, Alternatives and Derivatives). I was able to handle this years exam because I dumped the Schweser notes for the Curriculumn thats where all those exam questions were drawn from. I managed to see traps in FRA and Equity this year and because I had the pleasure of time on some questions I would calculate the answer differently and would realize that this way was a trap and this should be the correct answer. I also realized that when there is a catch its normally placed on option A so that if you dont really check your way you forget the rest of the two options. I believe those who are going to pass must do well in the three subject areas above and Ethics the rest of the areas had traps and some points will be dropped but if you finished early did the TTs EOCs and the Mocks it was pretty a good exam I thought I was ranging between 77%-80% for both sessions AM and PM.

Prob troll, but I started with Cs then I realized I’m favoring Cs too much cause my handle on analystforum starts with a C. So I added more Bs and As. Overall I felt confident in my guesses, I tell myself Imma beast everytime I bubbled in another guess. I’ll prob be back next year…

In which subjects less than 50 percentile may work (PM, Eco); equity, FRA, ethics, corp 75-80, FI and Derivatives near 65%

You’re in violation when you cross the line and start discussing the exact topic that was tested, but simply by saying “the equity questions were hard/easy/screwy/flawed” you’re not in violation. Since Equity has a weight from around 10-20% of the exam and it’s common public non-material information that it’s a topic on the exam.

But uhhhh, I would never bite the hand that feeds and say their exam was flawed LOL. It’s for that reason I can never bring myself to complain about questions on the exam on the survey. I like to picture CFAI as a bunch of hardcore New-Yorkers and picture myself walking into a room to say I think they made a mistake as to which they promplty respond with a “EFF YOU” and then fail me. But that’s just me and I’m not the most rational human being alive.

Don’t they usually come out of the woodwork by now and say a general message along the lines of thanks for sitting for the exam, you can expect your results in 8 weeks?

The test last year was on 6/3 and I received an email on 6/28 stating results would be available on 7/25. So I’d expect to see something about timing by mid July, and I have a feeling the big day will be 8/14.

Agree. I estimate 8/14 too.

I understand when someone is in violation. I didn’t see any of the posts by 125mph which could have been in violation. Unless I missed some of the messages.
