yeah, CFAI releases on a tuesday and it would make sense for the day to be 14 Aug. It sucks because by that time it is 1am and last year the email didn’t come through till 6am. Not sure if any time is a good time to be honest lol.
How is everyone here so confident?! Wish I felt this way. Usually I think I am failing every mock exam then somehow get above 70 and feel surprised! I’m sad to say this, but maybe that’s just because I’m a girl …seems it’s always the girls questioning and doubting ourselves!

Which one would you suggest guys, schweser or wiley for level2?
Haha. I wouldn’t make it out to be a gender thing. Perhaps cultural, but as you have seen, some people are not that confident. I was just like you with my mocks, I thought I did well and results were down; less confident on another and got over 70… coming out of the exam, I know I smashed it. Last year I felt borderline and was band 10. Gut feel is generally a good indication
Content wise, either would be fine. Qbank is better with Wiley as they actually do some vignette style. Schweser is really good for the amount of mocks you get (6). Personally I like Wiley. I also think IFT is really good. People have passed with all three or none of them.
Wiley has more than 100 hours of video and a great database of practice exams (almost 2k questions), but their 2 mock exams sux! Schweser has 6 good mock exams. I went for Wiley and then bought only the 6 Scheweser’s mock exams, and I don’t regret.

no I don’t mean at all that ALL girls are! I just have noticed that usually when I talk to other women, they feel less confident after this test than the guys do. It’s just based on those I’ve spoken to. Not something that would apply to everyone or else that would be an absurd stereotype. And I am envious of anyone feeling confident, and think it’s a great thing!

Not a chance! If I had to guess I would say that men are overconfident in their skills, while women are not. Hell, I would even say that`s the reason why women generally outlive man.

We’re more professional than that. And quit putting yourselves down people, you know what it takes to pass these exams, it’s just practice - and that can come from anywhere.

My two cents: doubt can reflect a keen wit. You doubt because you are able to recognize the risks, biases, influences and circumstances that can influence your result regardless of how prepared you are, because they are out of your control (not just talking about the exam here). If you never doubt, your place is not in the investment profession.
