How is the diifficulty of Schweser mock compared to the actual exam?

Schweser mocks are the same difficulty if not harder. A lot of vignettes on Schweser mocks are way too wordy and give you information out of order/buried in text- this makes them difficult. The real exam is way more clear and gives you info in order- its pretty much 6 level 1 questions in a row. But on the real exam they test concepts in a way that you can only answer if you DEEPLY understand the concept, and they will try to trick the shit out of you…so definitely hammer all the blue boxes multiple times
It depends what year you take the exam. The overwhelming opinion from the people I’ve spoken to that took the 2018 actual Level 2 exam found it to be quite difficult compared to anything that they had practiced with.
I took Level 2 in 2017 and can say in my experience, the actual exam was without question easier than the mocks I took, which included several from Schweser and one or two from Wiley.
Agreed on the above that, in general, Schweser mocks are notoriously more cluttered in terms of wording and numbers… actual is very clear and straight to the point.
