Ok, so I know with direct stock ownership positions, they (being the company or their agent) can create a list of direct owners of the stock of a company, say for a proxy vote, annual meeting, etc.
If you own a call or put option contract purchased through your regular online broker, is there any way that your ownership of that contract can or will be reported to the underlying company?
Disclaimer… I’m not looking to violate any compliance rules, I’m just not sure the information sharing behind options…
