In how much detail are we supposed to know th z- and t-distributions critical values (e.g. at 90%, 95%, 99% levels of confidence)? Are the tables for these distributions given in the exam?
You need to know a few values for the Z-distribution: 68%, 90%, 95%, 99%. You needn’t know any of the t-distribution values.
For those you do not need to know, they’ll give you an excerpt from the table.
