A colleague told me that last year CFAI required him use his supervisor as one of his sponsors, even though CFAI website says it doe not have to be that way: http://www.cfainstitute.org/cfaprog/charterholder/membership/faq.html##7 Anyone has some idea? Thanks.
My boss was not a sponsor.
Though, its worth mentioning that I make investment analysis / accounting software, so my management chain thinks I’m becoming a Cisco Firewall Administrator.
Thanks dlpicket… did you mentioned your situation to CFAI? did CFAI give you hard time for not using your supervisor as a sponsor? Thanks again.
I had a feeling your supervisor had to be a sponsor only if they were already a charterholder
Your"re a joke.
you too cdiem
Nah, CFAI doesn’t seem to care. You just give the link to two charterholders. They don’t even ask if they’re a supervisor or not.
