Lol, nice! What is it you do for work?
I work in fintech doing model management and trade ops stuff. It sadly, wasn’t work that brought me there. It was a family connection who works at NYSE and they’re allowed to bring guests to the opening/closing bell. Strict dress code too (which is a good thing). It was overall a very positive experience getting to see the opening. I was like 4 feet away from the cast of squawk on the street. Also, VERY secure building to get into…Also a good thing.
I wonder what the pay is like for those market makers.
