They paid for everything. Gave me 5 days off to study (didn’t count as PTO). I work for small financial planning firm with no established policy.
No official policy here. They pay everything up front, and even asked why I didn’t order more than I did from Schweser. I also get the week before the exam off to study, with it not being taken out of PTO or vacation.
we get paid if we pass, up to $1500 per year, i wish i didnt have to take my days off out of my vacation though!
Current bank encourages it (job function is a big factor of course). Registration fee is paid, 5 days off that count toward vacation days + ~$1500 toward materials and whatever training course we use. At my previous employment when I was pursuing level I, they pretty much said, “yeah, if you can go ahead and pay for that yourself, that would be great, thanks. yeah…” Night and day.
Passed level I, firm reimbursed $825 of registration fee. Pretty nice…
