I’m having troubling remembering all of the equations to calculate related problems. Is anybody else struggling with this and what ideas/tricks do you have to solving these? Is it simply just memorizing these formulas?
EAY and HPY I found intuitive, rMM and rBD I memorized. I just spent a few hours converting between the 4 and now I dont have to think twice when I see a Q
Most are intuitive but to avoid making a dumb mistake I just wrote down the formulas and taped them on the fridge and on my whiteboard in my office.
It’s easier to remember if you bear in mind that EAY and rBD are ways of annualizing HPY.
This was the most annoying reading ever.

With the yields, found it easiest to think about everything in terms of a HPY and know how to move from there.
