EBIDTA in fixed income

Maybe i have been studying too much, but the beginning of fixed income and it’s ratios, has EBIDTA as operating income + depreciation+interest…EBIDTA is earnings before interest deprectiation and taxes is it not, or am i just not seeing the simple logic behind this? any help would be greatly appreciated.

Operating Income = EBIT

Thus, EBITDA = EBIT + DA

Go up the I/S line-by-line, and you’ll see it.
