So Relative PPP uses the inflation differential, NOT the interest rate differential Interest Rate Parity uses basically the same formula, but it uses interest rates instead of inflation… don’t think you need a mnemonic to remember that, since interest rate is in the name! and forget about FC/DC, DC/FC, Counter/Base, whatever… just match up the denominators on both sides of the equation and you’re good!!

Lol sounds good, ended up here because my parents and I moved a lot. Went to school at the University of Oklahoma and Texas A&M. Graduated this time last year, and had some offers in Dallas and Houston from two IBs (now defunct) and two major oil companies. But I went with a smaller financial institution that was the most financially sound (didn’t want to work for oil company, no desire at all). Ended up being a smart decision as my friends who accepted offers from IBs are now laid off with no prospect for getting back into the financial industry whatsoever (over the near term; not the best way to start a career!), and the company I work for is the biggest bank in the nation not to take TARP!
