Anyone ever posted a resume there? Any hits?
never worked for me. Indeed is better.
I am using both efinancial careers and indeed. For efinancialcareers: My resume was not viewed often but my applications were frequently successful at least for first round. Indeed: is not is just a type of search agent. Try www.selbyjennings.com as well.
I’ve been getting the following message on efinancialcareers all day today, irritating: Internal Server Error - Read The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Captain…any chance you are using Safari? If so use FireFox, and that will eliminate that error message with eFinancial…
I am using Safari. The funny thing is it usually works fine but recently it hasn’t. I’ll try it with explorer, I don’t have FireFox. Thanks JohnnyMarr.

I’ve never posted a resume on a site like that. Who is entitled to access it? I’d be afraid someone from my current employer might see it or someone else who I might not want to know that I am considering changing jobs.
I posted an anonymous one. In one day I got 4 hits from 3 distinct recruiters. Not bad. This is in parallel to an internal interview in case things pan out badly.
Ok I didn’t think that it would be anonymous. Makes a lot of sense actually. Thanks.
When I say anonymous, I took out my name and the name of my present employer from the CV - basically anything that linked me to my current employer.

never posted my resume, but i did apply to a few jobs on there and actually landed a couple offers.
I’ve gotten two interviews from efinancial careers – one job I applied to and for the other job the firm saw my resume and contacted me. Sadly no job offers, the one firm hired someone else and the second firm has put hiring on hold, but in this economy leave no stone unturned.
