I want to register June 2008. I took the exam in 2002, but fail. I registered again in 2005, but didn’t sit the exam. Do I still need to pay the enrollment fee in 2008? The fee schedule states “Candidates registering to repeat a failed exam should deduct $50 from these exam registration fees.” Am I eligible to deduct $50 from registration fee? The exam fee is increased every year, I felt. I really want to save my pocket. Thank you for anyone who helps me answer the questions.
Tweety, I’m confident you’re eligible for the $50 discount. If this is the case, it should occur automatically when you login to your CFAI account to register for the exam. However, it may be worth calling CFAI just to confirm.
