So during the Enron scandal, Wall Street was giving away utility companies. Especially if they had anything to do with energy trading. For an investor, I believe that Williams Energy was the ultimate big prize to escape that bear market with. It traded down under a dollar as other investors, index funds, etc. were dumping anything to do with southern utilities & energy trading. So… we have plenty of scandals going on now with finance.
