Entered wrong country of issue of passport :'(

I registered and entered my country of issue as India. But India is my country of citizenship and my PLACE of issue as given in the passport is dubai.

Something similar happened to another candidate but apparently CFA institute crosschecked it with the scanned copy of her passport and asked her to rectify the error.

Is this true? does CFA ask candidates to send pport copies? How soon after registering does this happen?

your scuppered mate as there is no chance of changing that, Sounds like you won’t be giving exam for the same.

Phone or e-mail CFA Institute; somebody there should be able to correct it.

Call them, but seriously if you can’t follow simple instructions I doubt you will pass anyway.
