Hi All, I am a career changer and trying to land a good entry level job. What kind of positions are best to learn more about the industry and help to be a good investment manager in the long term? Thanks!
What career are you changing from? That would help figure out transferrable skills.
Any job will ask you for your background so without it nobody will be able to help.
I just have one year of marketing research experience…Not a very significant experience, though…Just administrative tasks, etc…

I’m a compliance analyst. But I process sales and use taxes for corporations. Lots of math involved, filing returns, making sure sales/use tax laws are followed… My question is: how can I make a switch? I’d like to be an investment analyst or do something that will require more analytical skills. Any inputs?
