For level 1 and 2, the consensus is that you should focus on the EOC and you are good if you understand the EOC.
What about level 3? There are quite a bit of essay style questions in the EOC.

They are easy but some are tricky. I have done every EOC question 3x already, and now I’m on my very last attempt (4th). I find them helpful to reaffirm many formulas and concepts.
Are you memorizing all the list of things we need to memorize?
Even the less "core curriculum?
There’s so many.
For example,
7 financial stages of life
4 step risk management strategy for individuals
9 challenges in forecasting
Also, are you doing the blue boxes? I’m thinking of skipping them and just doing the EOC.
i have other things to memorize that I find more important, such as
I’ve done blue box 3x and saving the last attempt probably in late may.
End of chapters not enough have to do the blue boxes, some of the bridge concept boxes as well. There are exhibits that provide good examples that showed up in past exams.
so review of BB and EOCs mean actually putting pen on paper or just go through the question and answers?
Pen and paper is the only way to commit
then it takes much longer to review
Well if you feel you can just skim through it and understand it then just do that. There’s quite a few examples not in blue boxes or EOCs that show up in the past morning as well as the CFAI qbank just to give you some warning. Everyone has their own study style stick with what works best for you.
BBs are a nightmare. And they cover different stuff than the EOCs do. Sometimes a BB example comes up in the website practice tests.
I have gone through all BBs when reading the material, but a second go of all these questions is impossible timewise.
I’ll go through the EOCs and the website questions once again, and then just hope for the best.
Level 3 is significatnly harder than level 2, uncomparably harder.
EOC and Website Questions and mocks will prepare you for Afternoon session.
But one has to revisit the morning sessions to get a good grip on technique for Morning session. I underestimated that last year and paid dearly.
